Employment Opportunities:

Part-time Porters – The porter position is one of the most critical positions during events because porters are responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of all general areas including the outer and inner concourses, event floor (including the lounge), seating areas, restrooms, entrance ways, and stairwells. Porters must provide excellent customer service and exceed our guests’ expectations. The porter is also responsible for providing general assistance and customer service to guests as needed, in a friendly and helpful manner.

Part-time Porter Team Supervisor – The part-time Porter Team Supervisor will work closely with the venue Operations Management team to ensure quality and productivity of the Porter team. This individual will be expected to perform his/her job function in a matter consistent with venue Management’s direction and be an advocate of AEG’s Encore Program’s values, both with the goal of exceptional customer service. Also this person must have the ability to maintain good business relations with all employees and managers in other departments.

Part-time Ushers – The usher position has the most interaction with our guests during events, and as such must provide excellent customer service and exceed our guests’ expectations. The usher position is responsible for properly checking guests’ tickets as they enter the seating areas, concourses, and other areas of the facility. The usher must properly direct guests to their seats, and to other services around the facility including Guest Services, the box office, restrooms, concessions, first-aid, and other event-specific locations as directed by the Event Manager. The usher is also responsible for providing general assistance and customer service to guests as needed, in a friendly and helpful manner.

Part-time Security Officers – The Part Time Security Officer is responsible for overseeing the safety and security of Valley View Casino Center patrons, employees, and assets. Guard Card required.

Part-time Guest Services Representative – The Guest Services Representative is responsible for providing Valley View Casino Center guests and vendors with excellent customer service and general information pertaining to the arena. Continually exceed guest expectations for service and satisfaction in all areas of the event experience. Have a thorough knowledge of all seat locations, concessions, restrooms, merchandising, and all other pertinent areas within HRL. Greet guests and scan tickets and/or escorts guests to their proper assigned seats. Acknowledges all guest related issues and reports to Supervisor. Maintains a clean, safe, & healthy work environment while enforcing all of VVCC policies and procedures. Perform other duties, special projects, and tasks as assigned. High school diploma or GED preferred or equivalent. 1-2 years prior customer service experience

Operations Assistant – Physically perform and assist with event setups, changovers and daily operational tasks. Act on all relevant information from Operations Manager and Event Managers to event setups and changovers. Participate in day-to-day operations of facility. Assist Operations Lead, Event Operations Manager and Facility Operations Managers as needed. Perform facility operational tasks required in keeping up the facility on non-event days. Other responsibilities and duties as assigned. Ability and opportunity to gain working knowledge of facility operations, changeovers and setup. Working knowledge of operations equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, staging, basketball floors, volleyball, football and tennis etc. Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays as event schedule required. Ability to meet deadlines and function in a fast-paced setting. Ability to lift 30 lbs. unassisted. Able to communicate effectively in English. Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task. Must be 18 years or older. Forklift certification not required but strongly preferred. Bi-lingual proficiency in Spanish a plus.
